Coming by Car
Most Houston commuters drive, and Rice Village works well for that. Kirby Drive and Shepherd Drive are the main north-south corridors feeding into the neighborhood, and Westheimer and University Boulevard carry traffic east and west. Street parking exists throughout the Village, and the area has surface lots and garage options nearby. Arriving a few minutes before your workday starts gives you time to settle in without the stress of hunting for a spot at peak hours.

METRO serves the Rice Village area, and for commuters coming from Midtown, Montrose or points along Main Street, the bus can be a genuinely practical choice.
